Work together
The quarry is a team operation. Help with excavating, loading, hauling, crushing, production and cleanup instead of everyone trying to do the same job. Communicate before taking equipment another player is actively using. If you are unsure where help is needed, ask.
Clear the Little Mine first
The Little Mine must be completely empty before work starts on the Big Mine. All quarry operations begin at the Little Mine. Do not excavate or haul from the Big Mine while material remains in the Little Mine. Staff will announce when operations can move to the Big Mine.
Park equipment up nice
Park equipment neatly and keep the area organized. Excavators may be left at the mine set up for the next person, safely positioned without blocking equipment. Park dump trucks, loaders and other equipment neatly when finished. Do not block haul roads, entrances, crushers or loading areas. Leave everything ready for the next player.
Refuel & repair
Check equipment before parking. Refuel when needed using the Fuel Truck. Repair heavily used or damaged equipment. Do not leave an empty or destroyed machine for the next person.
Keep haul roads clear
Do not park on haul roads, entrances, ramps, crusher entrances or loading areas. Leave enough room for dump trucks and heavy equipment. Do not dump material where it blocks traffic.
No terraforming or map changes
Do not terraform, landscape or paint terrain without authorization. Do not place, move, remove or sell buildings, productions, fences, decorations or other placeables. Only authorized RFC HOS may make permanent changes to the quarry/map.
Use equipment correctly
Use quarry equipment for its intended purpose. Do not ram, race, stunt or intentionally abuse equipment. Do not intentionally flip, bury, sink or destroy equipment. Heavy equipment is there to work.
Keep material organized
Keep quarry materials in designated areas where possible. Do not create unnecessary piles or dump material where it blocks roads, equipment, productions or other players. Clean up your work area when finished.
Crushers & Iron Furnace
Quarry productions are part of the main operation. Take the correct materials to the designated Limestone Crushers and Iron Furnace. Do not change production settings unless authorized. Do not turn productions on/off or change output settings without permission. Ask staff before dumping if you do not know where material belongs.
Pallets & Selling Parties
Do not sell Selling-Party products on your own. Finished products and designated pallets are saved for organized RFC Quarry Selling Parties. Do not take, hide, move or sell Selling Party pallets unless authorized. Do not enter or interfere with restricted storage areas. Selling Party equipment stays in its designated area until needed. Staff will announce when a Selling Party starts and when products are ready to move or sell.
Do not sell server property
Do not sell vehicles, equipment, productions, buildings, land or other server property. Follow the Quarry Server's designated material-selling system. If unsure whether something can be sold, ask staff first.
Finish what you start
Do not start a major excavation or hauling operation unless you have time to finish or clean it up. If leaving unexpectedly, tell other players what you were working on. Do not leave a giant mess for the next group.
Watch server performance
Avoid unnecessary material piles and excessive equipment scattered around the map. Clean up unused materials and equipment when appropriate. Unnecessary objects and mess can affect sync time and server performance.
Respect other players
Do not intentionally interfere with another player's operation. Do not ram, block, steal equipment someone is actively using or purposely ruin another player's work. Give excavators, loaders and haul trucks room to operate. Teamwork comes before arguing over equipment.
Ask if you are unsure
Ask staff where material goes, where equipment should park, which equipment to use, how Crushers or Iron Furnace work, what to save for a Selling Party, what can be sold and whether something may be modified. Do not guess.
